SEE YOU SATURDAY

On Saturday, my office will host an Apprenticeship Fair to provide resources and connections to local Career & Technical Education programs, internships, apprenticeships and other on-the-job training opportunities. Participants will include representatives from Ball, Centura, U.S. Army, IBEW, Colorado Homebuilding Academy, several local community colleges and more. This is a great opportunity for both young people and family members to connect with local resources and learn about future career options.

Speaker sessions will be available both in English and Spanish. Click here to learn more and to register or call (303) 274-7944.

MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT

Medicare Open Enrollment began October 15, 2019 and will end December 7, 2019. This is your chance to explore available Medicare health plan choices for 2020, including prescription drug plans and Medicare Advantage plans. Reevaluating your plan during Open Enrollment may enable you to switch to a higher quality plan, save on premiums, or find better prescription drug coverage.

Medicare beneficiaries can use the Medicare Plan Finder on www.medicare.gov to review current coverage and decide on the option which best fits your health needs for 2020.

If you have questions or need assistance with Medicare, my staff and I are here to help at (303) 274-7944 or you can call 1-800-MEDICARE.

SOON: Coloradans can buy health insurance through Connect for Health Colorado during the upcoming Open Enrollment period which begins November 1, 2019. A Special Enrollment Period is available for families experiencing a Qualifying Life Change Event.

survey on impeachment inquiry

I believe the evidence brought to light showing the President and administration officials asking the Ukraine President to investigate a political opponent are serious and violate the President’s oath of office. We must ensure the Constitution, the rule of law and our national security are protected and defended.

That’s why I support the impeachment inquiry – a decision I did not take lightly – and want to hear your thoughts on the decision of the U.S. House to begin impeachment proceedings.
