Today, Congressman Ed Perlmutter offers congratulations and a heartfelt welcome to the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) to the Anschutz Medical Campus.

UCH recently completed its move to the Anschutz Medical Campus located in Aurora, which is part of the 7th Congressional District represented by Perlmutter.

"I am so proud to welcome UCH to the world class medical facilities at the Anschutz Medical Campus," said Perlmutter. "This facility is home to at least two of the nation’s leading health care organizations -- the nationally recognized UCH and the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center (UCDHSC)."

Additionally, the Anschutz Medical Campus is the future home of the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) and Children’s Hospital.

"The Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora will be the hub of health care in Colorado, and this project continues the positive relationship with the health care community in Colorado by moving to this site," commented Perlmutter.

Perlmutter added, "The entire Anschutz campus is unique in that it is designed to facilitate the collaborative care services between medical facilities ranging from emergency medical care through specialty care. I look forward to working with UCH and all of the fine medical institutions to ensure that the highest quality of medical care will be provided throughout our state and region.
