This year, from April 23 – May 18, 2007, the students’ art work will be on exhibit at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado . The artwork will be judged by independent judges on May 2, 2007.
On May 4, 2007, Congressman Perlmutter, in conjunction with Exempla Lutheran Medical Center will host a reception at the hospital and present awards to the students. The winning work will be sent to Washington, D.C. to represent the 7th Congressional District and will be displayed with other winners from throughout the nation in an exhibit in the U.S. Capitol.
“This is a fantastic way to showcase the talent of our students here in the 7th Congressional District,” said Perlmutter. “The caliber of art this year is outstanding, and I am so proud of each and every one of these students.
