The RMH Group Creating Jobs and Promoting Sustainable Building Design

Today, U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) congratulates The RMH Group on their project portfolio expansion and staff additions as a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act continues to benefit businesses and communities in the 7th CD by creating new jobs. A priority of ARRA is investing in energy efficient building technology and design. Congratulations to The RMH Group on their success in designing energy efficient buildings. Promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy in the buildings we live and work in is good for national security, good for the climate and good for jobs,” stated Perlmutter.

On February 17, President Obama signed into law H.R. 1, the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act, at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

Since the Recovery Act passed, RMH has seen a dramatic increase in work. Our business is in sustainable design and consulting engineering on commercial and industrial facilities. Over the last few months we have received several projects funded or enhanced by stimulus spending. Since the start of the year our employment has increased by 11% and is directly related to the addition of stimulus-funded projects to our portfolio,” stated Bill Green, President of The RMH Group.

Overall, in the 7th Congressional District, ARRA is directly responsible for impacting more than 1,600 jobs in the education, transportation infrastructure, law enforcement, sustainable design, renewable energy and youth summer program sectors.
