Congressman Ed Perlmutter will hold the next "Government at the Grocery" store meeting on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Safeway grocery store located at 1605 E. Bridge Street in Brigton.

quot;Government at the Grocery" is a program Congressman Perlmutter is doing in order to reach out to constituents of the 7th Congressional District and provide them with an easy, convenient way to meet with their Congressman and his office about important issues they are facing and for which they need help. The Congressman will have staff members from his district office with him to help greet constituents and conduct new casework intakes.

quot;I look forward to these events on the weekend because grocery stores have long been a community gathering place, and by taking our Congressional Office to where the people gather, we are able to reach out, learn about and address the issues that impact our constituents’ lives." said Perlmutter.

These events will be held regularly around the district at convenient locations including events in Aurora, Commerce City, Lakewood, Golden, Arvada, Wheat Ridge and Brighton.
