U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) is pleased to congratulate the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) for recent awards for two separate exemplary technologies.

NREL recently was presented two awards from Research & Development Magazine for their production of two new solar technologies. Congressman Perlmutter would like to commend the National Renewable Energy Laboratory for providing clean renewable energy resources that will help become energy independent, help protect our environment, and help provide viable energy resources for every American.

Congressman Ed Perlmutter stated, “I am extremely proud of the work being done at NREL as they continue to set the standard for excellence in renewable energy technology in the world. Becoming energy independent and protecting our environment while providing a clean and fuel efficient resource is an important issue and is essential to the progress of our nation. The employees of NREL deserve these awards, and I congratulate them as we wait for their next amazing discovery.”
