Demand for the workshop has been overwhelming with over 140 RSVPs as of Thursday morning

On Saturday, March 8, 2008, U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07), the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) and the Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) are hosting a workshop for residential home and small business owners to learn how to become more energy efficient and utilize solar energy.

This workshop will provide an opportunity for people to 1) Get an energy audit; 2) Obtain details about installing photovoltaic systems (solar panels) on their home or business; 3) Learn about the rebates and tax incentives available from Xcel Energy, the State of Colorado and the Federal government; 4) Learn about new technologies and 5) Participate in a Q & A with a panel of experts.
