Today, U.S. Rep Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) is proud to announce Arvada resident and Pomona High School Senior, Jasmine Sapp, was awarded an appointment to the Unites States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs for the fall of 2008. Her parents are Wendy and Glenn Sapp of Arvada .

“I am very proud the Air Force Academy chose Jasmine to be a Cadet for this fall. Her academic, athletic and extra-curricular accomplishments all combined to make her a strong candidate. I have no doubt she will succeed at the academy. With young women like Jasmine attending our prestigious service academies our nation will continue to have a new generation of leaders,” stated Perlmutter.
