Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) issued the following statement in response to President Trump’s tax plan:

“I have long-supported comprehensive tax reform that will simplify our tax code and make it more fair for hardworking Coloradans. President Trump’s tax plan is short on details but appears to be an expensive and irresponsible tax cut for big corporations and the wealthy that will be paid for by our children and grandchildren. We need to clean up the tax code to stimulate economic growth and make it work for hardworking families rather than special interests.”
