    Washington, DC – U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) successfully included an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 that would allow mixed use development on nearly 1,000 acres in Commerce City near the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. The amendment removes deed restrictions on land that were put in place after the closure and cleanup of the Arsenal in the early 1990s.
