Transportation Member Project Applications - DEADLINE: FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 2021
The House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee recently announced consideration of Member Designated Project Requests as a part of the Committee’s work to reauthorize our surface transportation programs this year. Eligible projects will be sponsored by states, local governments, metropolitan planning organizations, transit agencies, and other local transportation agencies. The T&I Committee believes successful projects will be those “which include building a safer transportation network, increasing access, strengthening our multi-modal transportation systems, reducing carbon pollution, enhancing environmental justice, supporting underserved communities, and improving state of good repair of our Nation’s infrastructure.”
If an eligible entity would like to submit a request to our office for consideration in the surface transportation reauthorization legislation, please review this information packet and complete this form which should be returned to my office with any supporting materials by Friday April 2, 2021.
