Project description:  The Colorado Drug, Device, Diagnostic Institute (CD4I) will accelerate the commercialization of life science discoveries at the University of Colorado and Colorado State University, insuring greater success in creating and retaining new bioscience companies.  CD4I will provide a management team with demonstrated experience and success in drug and medical device development. 

Use of Taxpayer Dollars:  This is wise use of taxpayer dollars because the Anschutz Medical Campus at Fitzsimons will be developing world-class medical technologies and the CDDDI will provide for a central facility at Fitzsimons to foster new healthcare businesses while assisting existing businesses to provide their product to the medical community around the world.
